The Royal Coffee Bar features a simple control panel with easy to use buttons
and an alphanumeric digital display. Simply press the coffee button and the
machine automatically grinds your coffee beans then dispenses freshly brewed,
rich and flavorful coffee into your cup. In addition, it also incorporates an
exclusive automatic milk frothing system that converts milk to rich milk froth
and lightly dispenses it over a latte or cappuccino!
The Royal Coffee Bar is just like the Saeco Royal Professional, but this model
can be plumbed into an outside water source so you don't have to contend with
filling the water reservoir. A special hookup on the back of the machine accepts
standard 3/4" threads to accommodate household or other plumbing.
The Royal Coffee Bar allows you to choose the volume and strength of your coffee
by simply pushing the volume buttons on the control panel. After brewing your
coffee, the machine automatically dumps the spent coffee grounds into an
internal waste box. This machine incorporates many features of much larger
automatic commercial espresso machines for less money, and its compact size
makes it ideal for small volume use. It easily fits into small break rooms or
kitchens. We recommend this machine for the medium size office or light
commercial setting such as restaurants or small coffee bars.

This system eliminates the need to steam milk the traditional way and
there is no need to master the technique of frothing milk. No mess, no
waste! At the push of a button, the Royal Pro has the Cappuccinatore milk
frothing system that instantly heats and froths milk in addition to having a
standard milk steaming nozzle. The frothing system can be operated while
brewing is in progress. Simply press a button for instant milk froth!
The digital display shows the various machine functions and the status
of the machine. It indicates when you are out of water, out of beans,
machine needs cleaning, and more. From the screen you can program the Royal
Coffee Bar for various cup sizes, water temperature, and control various
functions.
The Royal Coffee Bar allows you to determine the brewing temperature of
your coffee from mild, hot, and very hot. The digital display will indicate
the brewing temperature.
The Royal Coffee Bar keeps track of the number of cups of coffee the
machine has made. This is useful to determine when service should be
performed.
Select the desired amount of espresso you wish to brew. Just press the
single cup button to make a "short" espresso, the double cup button to make
a "double" espresso, or the triple cup button to make a "triple" This
feature allows you to press a button and walk away. The machine will
automatically stop when the correct amount of espresso is brewed.
You can tell the machine how much coffee is to be brewed. You can use
the three factory preset cup sizes or program the machine to make any cup
size you want. When you press the brew button, the machine will
automatically brew the correct amount of coffee each time. You can program
the machine to make the same cup volumes every time with cup sizes up to 8
ounces with varying strengths.
This machine is not only capable of brewing espresso, but it can also
produce a popular drink called cafe cr?me (also known as crema coffee). This
coffee is brewed in the same manner as espresso. However, where espresso is
brewed relatively slow (about 15-20 seconds for 1.5 ounces), cafe cr?me is
brewed at a faster rate. Espresso brews slower because the coffee grounds
are required to be very fine which restricts the water flow through the
grounds. This helps give espresso its intense flavor and strength.
This in turn will allow the water to flow more freely through the coffee
grounds as required for cafe cr?me. The result is a wonderfully aromatic and
flavor-rich coffee that is smooth and not as intense as espresso, and it
will be topped with a layer of crema. Many of our customers are enjoying the
use of their machine for this purpose in addition to espresso. Cafe cr?me is
a good replacement for most coffee makers (like a drip coffee maker),
because in about 35 seconds, the machine will brew about 8 ounces of fresh
pressure-brewed coffee without the mess. Another benefit is that this
brewing method requires far less ground coffee per serving thus saving you
money! Many refer to cafe cr?me as Swiss brewed coffee as it is very popular
among Swiss consumers.
This special feature allows the user to bypass the coffee grinder and
dump pre-ground coffee into the machine. This is great if you wish to use a
coffee that differs from the beans already in the machine. For example, if
there is someone in the crowd who wants a decaffeinated espresso but there
is only caffeinated espresso beans in the machine, simply pour pre-ground
decaffeinated coffee into the bypass doser and the machine will do the rest!
After brewing the pre-ground coffee the machine will reset itself to use the
beans in the machine. You can use any type of pre-ground coffee for this
procedure.
This allows you to choose from 6 to 9 grams for each of the three coffee
amount presets. This allows you to determine the strength of the coffee
despite the size of the cup for any kind of coffee - from small to large
cups.
The boiler is powered by 1250 watts allowing for continuous use for
large numbers of servings in short periods of time making the Royal Coffee
Bar ideal for home, office, or small commercial settings.
In addition to the Cappuccinatore attachment, the Royal Coffee Bar also
features a steam wand that allows you to froth and steam milk yourself.
Virtually unlimited steam capacity makes large steaming jobs a snap because
unlike many conventional espresso machines, the Royal Coffee Bar continually
replenishes spent steam.
As long as the machine is turned on hot water can be instantly dispensed
from the steam nozzle. This is a nice feature for teas, hot chocolate, or
other hot beverages that need hot water. Many users make a shot of espresso
then add hot water from the steam nozzle to make a popular Cafe Americano.
The Royal Coffee Bar uses an advanced automatic brew system. As the
heart of the automatic espresso machine it accepts freshly ground coffee
from the built-in coffee grinder. It tamps the coffee perfectly, pre-soaks
the grounds with a special "pre-infusion" step, brews the coffee, and then
dumps the used coffee grounds into the internal dump box. Once the brewing
cycle has been completed, it resets itself for the next cup of coffee.
A professional quality conical type burr grinder is built in. When the
brew button is pushed, the grinder automatically begins grinding the exact
amount of coffee beans based on the amount of coffee the machine is going to
brew.
Conical burr grinding mechanisms are heavy-duty and are usually found on
more expensive coffee grinders. It consists of a "cone" shaped grinding
wheel that turns slowly to precisely grind the beans consistently without
burning them (common on low cost burr grinders). The grinding wheel is made
of tempered heavy-duty steel to provide a long service life and resists
small pebbles that may be hiding in the coffee beans.
The Royal Coffee Bar makes it easy to refill the water tank by allowing
you to add water while it's still on the machine or by removing it and
filling it at the water tap. The tank has an easy grip handle making removal
easy. Clear tinted ABS plastic gives you an indication of the amount of
water remaining.
The built-in coffee bean hopper holds 10.6 oz of coffee beans. The
hopper has a lid to help keep the coffee beans fresh.
The internal dump box catches all of the spent coffee grounds left over
from the brewing process. Its large capacity will hold up to 40 spent coffee
portions. It removes for disposal and easy cleaning.
Everything from small 2 oz. espresso cups up to large coffee cups can
easily fit under the adjustable coffee dispensing nozzle. It moves up or
down to accept many cup sizes and can be moved during the brewing process.
All the controls are located in one convenient place on the front of the
machine. They are laid out to be easy to understand and use.
An indicator located on the drip tray tells you when the drip tray is
full and needs to be emptied.
A convenient cup stacking surface is located on top of the machine made
of non-stick metal. The heating surface can be controlled allowing you to
turn it on or off. Keeping your espresso cups warm is essential for
excellent espresso!
The bottom of the machine is equipped with a swivel base that allows you
to turn the machine for easy access to the sides and back. This makes
cleaning and service easier.
